Today, I am thinking of Moshe and Karin and their simple but unforgettable wedding ceremony.
When Karin and Moshe found each other they shared a strong attraction, common interests and shared values.
Karin was born to live a bold life and marrying Moshe, the archeologist and moving with him to his home in Israel was
perfect for them both. Moshe found a beautiful partner with whom he shared a priceless connection.
They came to me for a simple saying of vows asking me to officiate their private wedding in Minneapolis, MN.
They requested simplicity because they believed that the bond that they shared was profound and deep and quite beyond words.
When you see them together you can just feel how much their relationship means to them. The very presence of this couple, making a commitment to each other and formalizing it by the simple saying of vows and signing of documents was just the way they wanted it.
I performed their simple ceremony in my 100-year old house in an historic neighborhood in Minneapolis. I wonder how many couples married in this home before I came here! I would say that the groom is naturally reserved but when this couple exchanged their vows there was visible emotion. The comfort of a private home wedding made it possible for the couple to “open up” to each other and have each word come from the heart without the pressure of an audience. These “real weddings” may not involve all of the details of other weddings but they are certainly “real” nonetheless. I will never, ever forget them and I know they will never forget that moment either.
Moshe and Karin planned to have a large celebration with their family and friends in Israel in the coming weeks.
I perform ceremonies of every style and variety. If you want a small wedding I support you. I travel throughout the Twin Cities Metro area in my role as a wedding officiant and wedding minister.
Your simple, elegant wedding will receive close attention and care. If this sounds like something you are looking for: a simple, Minneapolis – St. Paul private wedding, give me a call at 612-803-3073 and I will be glad to assist you!
I still receive updates from Moshe and Karin from Israel. I am so delighted that I was able to be present for that very special moment in time with them.
